The rigorous, 10-month course included topics embracing visions for excellence, effective communications with the community and stakeholders, and working effectively with the school board. Participants also completed a Capstone project on school leadership. Sessions were taught by leading superintendents from across the nation.

“I am honored to be among this first-ever class of educators to graduate from this outstanding program,” said Dr. McNeill. “This was one of the best professional development experiences I’ve had throughout my career as an educator because it focused exclusively on educational leadership and how we can capitalize on our strengths. At the end of the day, it’s all about learning new ways in which to better serve our students, staff, and school families, and I’m proud to offer my skills and knowledge to that worthy goal.”
