Families, as well as educators, want students to thrive and succeed in school and life. Families hold dreams and aspirations for their children, just as much as teachers do. This is the common goal that brings families and educators to partner with each other; this is family engagement.
On Saturday, September 22 families, educators, stakeholders and community partners from across the state will have the opportunity to learn how to better engage with one another at the Nevada Family Engagement Summit: Connections, Relationships, Partnerships.
Participants will spend a day acquiring more tools to effectively partner together on behalf of every child, as well as hear from Dr. Victor Rios on how to provide an equitable education for all children.
